SAC

We would like to encourage more parents to take part in SAC. Come visit us in Room 105 and attend our meetings – see what you can do to help your children and support our teachers and staff.

Did you know we have a Grandparents Support Group here at Longstreth? We are a team of volunteers who try to help out any way that we can for the children. Come out to our meetings to have some fun and give ideas. Bring a friend!

Intervention

The I-Ready intervention program is a school wide initiative that allows each scholar to embark on his/her individual learning path toward academic success.  Scholars receive individualized diagnostic assessment which leads to instruction in reading and math through interactive personalized lessons. I-Ready tracks and reports the scholar’s progress and gives additional strategies to improve the scholar growth that teachers can utilize for additional personalized instruction.

STS Program

The Student Theraputic Services (STS) Program provides theraputic services to scholars who have been identified with behavioral health issues inside the classroom.

Group and individual counseling and therapy are provided weekly to these identified scholars.
